Description

Zebra Slot Canyon is off of Hole in the Rock Road near Escalante, Utah. Dad and I spent a few days in the area hiking around. Most of the trails just lead off from the main road and you follow a series of cairns (rock stacks) into the distance. We really enjoyed this one. Moqui marbles stick out of the walls and the beautiful stripe pattern made for some wonderful photos.

Dad and I went on a ten week kayak and photography tour after I graduated from Warren Wilson College in 2007. We planned and prepped for the trip for over a year. We focused on visiting National and State Parks west of Colorado. Photography and outdoor activities were the main drive of the trip. Wonderful experience!
