White Rim Overlook is located in Canyonlands National Park. I linked up with a professional photograph there and he took me to a place that he had scouted out for the sunset. The clouds and light turned out to be perfect for a dramatic shot of the canyons and the Green River that runs through the canyon.

Dad and I went on a ten week kayak and photography tour after I graduated from Warren Wilson College in 2007. We planned and prepped for the trip for over a year. We focused on visiting National and State Parks west of Colorado. Photography and outdoor activities were the main drive of the trip. Wonderful experience!
