Dad and I took this photo in Upper Antelope Canyon in Page, Arizona. You can see the outline of the bear looking at the moon. Apparently, the moon is only “lit up” during certain times of the year.

Dad and I went on a ten week kayak and photography tour after I graduated from Warren Wilson College in 2007. We planned and prepped for the trip for over a year. We focused on visiting National and State Parks west of Colorado. Photography and outdoor activities were the main drive of the trip. Wonderful experience!
