Hunts Mesa is located in Monument Valley. We hired a guide that took us up on top of the mesa to camp for a night. We stayed right by the cliff edge that dropped about 1500 feet down to the canyon floor. We were camping there during the first week of our road trip. Definitely a great way to start the trip!

Dad and I went on a ten week kayak and photography tour after I graduated from Warren Wilson College in 2007. We planned and prepped for the trip for over a year. We focused on visiting National and State Parks west of Colorado. Photography and outdoor activities were the main drive of the trip. Wonderful experience!
