Description

These bison live in Yellowstone National Park. My sister and girlfriend-at-the-time Katherine joined Dad and I in Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons for a week. We had a great time hiking around and visiting everything the area had to offer. We were able to catch some great wildlife shots with our 600mm.

Dad and I went on a ten week kayak and photography tour after I graduated from Warren Wilson College in 2007. We planned and prepped for the trip for over a year. We focused on visiting National and State Parks west of Colorado. Photography and outdoor activities were the main drive of the trip. Wonderful experience!
