Description
Dad and I sold off half of our photo gear and combined resources to purchase a Canon 600mm f/4 supertelephoto lens for our trip. We saw this big horn sheep on the Going to the Sun Road in Glacier National Park. The road opened the day we got there and we were the very first ones to cross over the mountain that year. Lots of big horn sheep were all along the road and we were able to get some nice shots!
Dad and I went on a ten week kayak and photography tour after I graduated from Warren Wilson College in 2007. We planned and prepped for the trip for over a year. We focused on visiting National and State Parks west of Colorado. Photography and outdoor activities were the main drive of the trip. Wonderful experience!
