This missed the Cannon Sounding newsletter, but we’ll keep all hands informed of you progress. This is Friday, and we expect the cold front and rain to move into the Morehead City area tonight and all day tomorrow. Radar at about noon shows a few rain bands off Florida, but Georgia looks clear to sea. Some precip around Hilton Head, SC.

  2. My friends, Peggy and John, sent me your site that included your blog about the Berrys and meeting them. What a wonderful adventure you are having! I am sending this from Bocas del Toro, Panama. It is located on the Caribbean side just south of Costa Rica..our province borders Costa Rica.

Bocas del Toro is also a sailor’s paradise; so you may want to be even more adventurous next time and sail farther south. We have turquoise water and coconut palm beaches; but we also have enormous mountains to view, so it is a very different experience than the Bahamas. Plus it is NEVER cold. We are nine degrees from the equator. Of course in the mountians it is always around 72, year round. Here in Bocas del Toro it is much warmer with 100% humidity. A true tropical paradise with monkeys and parrots and the weirdest creatures of all..humans! From everywhere.

Keep writing. I am just starting your First Blog so I can catch up on the adventure. OH, by the way, fantastic pictures! Oh, and another thing, beer is a dollar here!

      Hi Peggy,

Thanks for checking out my blog! I just looked up some photos of Bocas del Toro. Incredible! Quite the sales pitch too, I think it will definitely be on the list for the next adventure. Thanks for the kind comments on the stories and photos. Writing and taking photos of the places I visit are two of my favorite things. Lots more stories to come so keep checking the blog! Enjoy paradise!
