Totem Pole is located in Monument Valley. This was one of the first stops on our road trip. We took a photo tour the first morning we were there. Tom, our guide, took us around to several amazing spots. We caught Totem Pole right at sunrise and then came back once the sun was up for this shot. Very beautiful area!

Dad and I went on a ten week kayak and photography tour after I graduated from Warren Wilson College in 2007. We planned and prepped for the trip for over a year. We focused on visiting National and State Parks west of Colorado. Photography and outdoor activities were the main drive of the trip. Wonderful experience!
