Dad and I took this photo while in Arches National Park. We pooled our resources together, sold a lot of gear and bought a Canon 600mm f/4 for the trip. We had to sell it when we returned but we had a lot of fun with it during the trip. This is the reflection of an Arches sunset in the front glass of the 600mm.

Dad and I went on a ten week kayak and photography tour after I graduated from Warren Wilson College in 2007. We planned and prepped for the trip for over a year. We focused on visiting National and State Parks west of Colorado. Photography and outdoor activities were the main drive of the trip. Wonderful experience!
