Description

Ruby Beach is a part of Olympic National Park. Olympic was amazing because it has the beach, a rain forest and mountain range all in one park. The rain forest comes right up to Ruby Beach which makes for a very dramatic scene.

Dad and I went on a ten week kayak and photography tour after I graduated from Warren Wilson College in 2007. We planned and prepped for the trip for over a year. We focused on visiting National and State Parks west of Colorado. Photography and outdoor activities were the main drive of the trip. Wonderful experience!
