Description

The Routeburn Track is one of the nine Great Walks in New Zealand. I went on the hike by myself and actually ended up quarantined in the ranger’s hut the first night. That’s a whole other story for another time! This photo is from the pass that you hike over after leaving the hut on the second morning. Really incredible hike!

This photo was taken during a wonderful trip to New Zealand in 2012-2013. Dad and I were together on this trip for five weeks and were able to go on all sorts of great hikes together. I was able to stay over in New Zealand for a total of four and a half months hiking all over the island and taking photos.
