Description

Angelus Hut is one of the primary huts in the Nelson Lakes hiking area of New Zealand. The hut sits right on Lake Angelus and serves as a hub for the rest of the trail system. The entire area offered so many beautiful photo opportunities. The hike the next day actually turned into one of the most adventurous hikes I had during my entire four and a half months. Fun times!

This photo was taken during a wonderful trip to New Zealand in 2012-2013. Dad and I were together on this trip for five weeks and were able to go on all sorts of great hikes together. I was able to stay over in New Zealand for a total of four and a half months hiking all over the island and taking photos.
